Physical activity is critical to the development and maintenance of good health. Some of the main goals of physical education are to: develop motor skills, a positive attitude, and help individuals gain the knowledge, skills, confidence, and health neccessary to enjoy a lifetime of physical activity. In addition, physical education courses should assists students in developing teamwork and individual skills that are transferable to other aspects of life.
